PartnerSabrina Covington is a Certified Public Accountant and Fraud Examiner with more than 18 years of experience orchestrating the optimization of financial management structures within platforms ranging from government and non-profit organizations to diverse businesses in the State of Florida. She combines a strong portfolio of successes spearheading auditing, accounting, and business development projects with a strong focus on boosting the financial performance of organizations while ensuring compliance with legalities and regulations.
As a Partner of the largest and leading African American accounting firm in the State of Florida (Harvey, Covington & Thomas, LLC), Sabrina directs the firm?s Central Florida operations and spearheads all auditing engagements as well as client services. Sabrina has also served in various accounting roles such as CPA, Staff Accountant, and Analyst for organizations ranging in size. Sabrina has managed and reviewed audits under the Single Audit Act (OMB Circular A-133), Yellow Book GAAP, GASB 34, GASB 45 and GAAS for several municipalities, publicly funded non-profit organizations and other government agencies.
Sabrina is a proud member of leading organizations such as the Florida Institute of Certified Accountants, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, AICPA Individual Tax Committee, and National Association of Black Accountants. She is also a Member of the Board of the Congressional Studies for NABA.
Equipped with a strong academic background, Sabrina possesses a Bachelor of Science in Business and Accounting and has completed advanced professional education coursework in Governmental Accounting and Auditing.
